KUALA LUMPUR: The first Asia Women Business Power Conference targeted at female entrepreneurs will be held on June 18.

This marks the first collaboration between Wanita MCA and the MCA ICT Resource Centre (MIRC).

“We are catering to women who are interested in getting involved in or starting new businesses,” said Wanita MCA chairman Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.

The event, which will provide a platform for participants to network and be inspired, will be held at Technology Park Malaysia .

“We accept the fact that in the business world, you need a joint effort from men and women to make a business work. Therefore, we encourage men to join as well so that they can have a better understanding and hopefully, a good partnership with women,” she told a press conference yesterday.
